The foothills of Australia’s Great Dividing Range are home to ALTO Olives, a dynamic family enterprise producing a diverse portfolio of exceptional quality Extra Virgin Olive Oils and Table Olives. The picturesque ALTO estate comprises 20,000 olive trees of different European origin varieties, each chosen for particular attributes – suitability to the climate, oil yield, quality and consistency.

In this Masterclass, followed by a convivial meal, Westerly Isbaih will take you through the wonderful world of extra virgin olive oil – with an organoleptic assessment; what to look for in positive & negative attributes; how to use olive oil and make the most of its health benefits. We will then serve you some seasonally driven dishes featuring new season ALTO oils – including an olive oil gelato made by Tiffany Jones from Cielo.

Cooking School

Participants will receive copies of the recipes and tasting plates of every dish prepared with wines to match. Classes are a mix of cooking, tasting, drinking, conversation, education and fun.
