Join us in this incredible class where John Susman from Fishtales joins with Steve Hodges from Fish Face to explain all about sourcing and cooking with seasonal and sustainable seafood. This class is all about celebrating seafood at Christmas – think Christmas
oysters, caviar and an incredible table where we will showcase the seas bounty, all beautifully prepared. Our caviar ambassador Lisa Downs will take you through a Caviar Masterclass alongside our Master of Ceremonies, John Susman.
Steve Hodges, co-author of the seafood bible, Australian Fish & Seafood Cookbook, is undeniably one of the best seafood chefs around; co-founder of Pier Restaurant with Greg Doyle and then chef/owner of the benchmark for seafood dining in Sydney, Fish Face. Steve will de-mystify the art of cooking seafood with some great ideas on making it the centre of your Christmas table.
John Susman, co-author of the seafood bible, Australian Fish & Seafood Cookbook, has been hooked on seafood his entire life – for the past thirty years he has done everything from working in the fish markets in Paris; the tuna halls in Tokyo; running fish catching, processing and distribution businesses in Australia and Asia; educating; mentoring; and writing a cookbook come- encyclopaedia on Australian fish and seafood.
