About this event

Often referred to as “black diamonds”, these beauties are brought to us by David Coomer from Coomer Truffles in Manjimup, WA, who will give an insight into the burgeoning truffle industry in Australia. Coomer Truffles are sourced from the picturesque cool climate of the southern forest region of Manjimup in Western Australia approx. 295 km from Perth, an area renowned for producing Australia’s finest black Perigord truffles. David Coomer is one of Perth’s most renowned chefs (Star Anise, Pata Negra….) in this class David will de-mystify the truffle – show you how to use this special ingredient simply and easily – for recipes you can recreate at home.

Cooking School

Participants will receive copies of the recipes and tasting plates of every dish prepared with wines to match. Classes are a mix of cooking, tasting, drinking, conversation, education and fun.
