Colston Bassett Stilton
Colston Basset Dairy was formed in 1912, and is one of the smallest dairies in the Stilton-makers’ Association.
This natural rinded Stilton is made the old fashioned way from hand ladled curds gently set with animal rennet. It’s very special because almost all Stilton cheese these days is made from microbial rennet using industrial techniques, and those made the traditional way at this dairy are all reserved for Neal’s Yard dairy in London.
This benchmark blue cheese is deliciously moist with a creamy texture and salty finish.
Please note minimum order spend is $100 – Delivery is free.

PLEASE NOTE – you must be at home to receive a HOME delivery as the goods are fresh and cannot be left unattended. If you are not going to be at home to receive your order then you need to organise collection from SJ Alexandria at our providores store. Any additional delivery fees will be charged at a $20 flat rate.
Order Monday to Thursday by 3pm for next day delivery.
Orders placed on Friday & Saturday will be delivered on Monday.
Orders placed on Sunday will be delivered on Tuesday.

They work with about 40 cheesemakers and hand select the cheese to bring to their maturing facilities in London which is run by a team dedicated to ensuring they sell cheeses at its best – whether it is directly to their customers in the UK or through distributors (like Simon Johnson) around the world.
