San Choy Bao

San Choy Bao is a delicious parcel of spicy pork mince, wrapped in a fresh lettuce cup. Perfect for summer entertaining.





    Pork Mince Stir Fry

  1. Wash iceberg lettuce in cold water & trim leaves into neat lettuce cups, using scissors. (Optional-set aside in cold water until needed)
  2. In a medium pan, heat the olive oil over a medium heat. Sauté the red onion & pork mince until it begins to colour
  3. Add the lemongrass & chilli stir fry paste, along with fish sauce. Continue to cook for 5 mins
  4. Add the water chestnuts and continue to cook for a further few minutes until all the mince has browned and is cooked through. Turn off heat
  5. To Serve

  6. Spoon pork mince into lettuce cup and add a few sprigs of coriander, sliced red onion & top with fried shallots to serve
